There are many techniques for forgiveness. One way is to acknowledge your own actions that contributed to the situation instead of focusing on blaming others. When you are able to see your role in the conflict, pray the ancient Hawaiian Ho'oponopono prayer of forgiveness for yourself: "I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you. I love you." Notice how your attitude and feelings towards others begin to shift when you use this prayer regularly.
